Energy of the Week for July 18-24, 2011: Expansion

Sometimes, it just seems as if things are going in the same old way without much getting clarified. At other times, more significant changes take place which feels as if you are growing and expanding. Clarifying when expansion is needed is the key to achieving everything you want.

How the energy of this week affects you in your personal life:
You develop and grow with every breath and learn more with every experience you go through. Some people stay in the same place or position and do the same thing for years and years. Unless you allow yourself to progress and develop within this environment, there will be very little expansion or improvement happening spiritually for you. Once you have learned as much as you can from a situation, you do not need to be in it anymore and you are ready to move on. This translates into changing your circumstances as things evolve to the next level. Ask yourself: what am I learning from where I am? How long have I been in this particular setting? Has anything improved for me? Am I pursuing better goals and desires than I did before?

How the energy of this week affects you in your business life:
Expanding in your business life is just as natural as going through a personal expansion. When this does not happen, things stagnate or get lethargic. Even when you think you are doing a good job, if you want to keep things the same, this will not take you to a new place spiritually. You need the desire to make it better and improve it. Use your creativity and apply your inner talents to give it a bit of a different flavor and bring another spin to it – every single time. If you feel your job is limiting and there is no freedom to thrive, you may want to address how you are giving your spirit the chance to soar and grow. At the end of the day, how much you have earned does not take the place of how much you have pleased yourself and allowed what you have inside to come out. At the end of your life, if you just tip-toed through the years listening to others without receiving satisfaction or fulfillment, it will be too late. If you are not doing what serves you spiritually, it will not benefit anyone else either. Being in this mediocre place just doing okay will not advance you enough. You have no other choice but to give life to the expansion you so well deserve. Give it a chance. Any time is the right time for you.

Expansion in your relationships this week will involve either starting a new one or bringing an existent one to a new level. It could mean precluding one that does not serve you as you raise the bar. When you change, the people around you will change their attitude toward you. Those who are sincere will be thrilled and gladly adjust to the new improved you. Others may criticize you or put you down for the changes you have initiated and they are not ready to make. Be gracious but remain clear and firm enough to say no to any intrusion that is standing in your way. Do not allow anything to throw a wrench in your inner and outer expansion this week. You have the backing from your spiritual guidance to step things up and bring them where they deserve to be for yourself. Doing the right thing will feel really good and pay off by showing you who your real friends are in the end. You are precious and your time is invaluable. Compassion is one of the most natural and passionate feelings you experience toward others. It is your warm consideration of them. As one of the greatest expressions of your sensitivity, it shows your deep care and profound understanding of their situation and your true desire to help them help themselves. If a person is robbed of all of their compassion, what would be left is a cold and self-lived egotist who is incapable of loving themselves, let alone others. What can help you be more compassionate in every area of your life?

How the energy of this week affects you in your personal life:
It is important to be compassionate with yourself first. Take a moment and ask:  am I being sensitive to myself enough? Do I understand myself completely? Do I have the patience and calmness to figure myself out when I get confused? Am I treating myself in a kind and nice way at all times? If you are not completely sure of the above, you may need to boost your self-compassion. Spiritually, you are the most important person to yourself first. Although you live inside your own skin, you may not know exactly what is going on or why you experience certain things in the way you do. As long as you have a true desire to find answers for yourself, you always will. In the meantime, you will want to keep an open heart and mind and remain calm to allow the answers to reveal themselves. No matter what, how you treat yourself affects you directly. Having the best attitude and love for yourself predetermines the outcome of everything for you. For many, it is the business hours that take up most of the day. You are either directly or indirectly dealing with the people you are being of service to. Remember an instance when you were receiving a service and the person offering it simply did not care. This probably turned you off and forced you to look elsewhere for what you needed. What you truly feel for your customers means everything. They will feel it on their end and it makes all the difference in the world. If you want to have more returning customers who are pleased with what you do, always think how you would like to be treated if you were them. Offer the utmost concern and diligent care to address everything they bring to your attention. The happier you keep them, the better your results.

The more compassion you have with your family and friends, you will have a bigger perspective of how to deal with them in any given situation. This will allow you to understand them on a deeper level. In order to do this, it is important to remove yourself from the equation. Since they are so close to you, you may be too partial. To be objective, look at the picture with only them in it. Find out exactly how it looks from their point-of-view. This could help you realize their position better and be the key to solving everything once you are able to add yourself (not your emotions) back into it. As long as you are being considerate of what matters to them, the more open they will be with you. Once this peaceful and loving balance is established, it will be much easier to know how to proceed. This process will bring you closer together and pay off in the end. Keeping hearts open on both sides helps link them together.

Having an incredible time begins with you. Remember the last time you had a fabulous experience. You were likely in a great mood, things turned out very nice and you enjoyed it thoroughly. Everything was right. But what if you were feeling off instead? Would you have been able to enjoy anything even if there was a splendid reason to? Most certainly not. Do you ever blame external reasons for having a terrible time? Is it possible for anything else to please you when you cannot please yourself to begin with? The truth is: what happens outside of you is not yours. It will not affect you unless you take it on. If this brings you down, was it not you who let it happen? You really have nothing else to blame but yourself for everything you are experiencing. If others have failed to help you with something, they need to face their own consequence. Why suffer for them when you can stay detached? The more you understand you have total control at all times of everything happening around you, the sooner you will have delightful and fantastic experiences all of the time. Energy of the Week for June 27-July 3, 2011: Consolidate

This week, the energy is backing you to consolidate all of your matters. You can simplify everything by engaging your energy in putting together similar projects. What is the best way to do this?

How the energy of this week affects you in your personal life:
While the time and energy you have at your disposal are the same, how you use them makes all the difference. The idea is to combine like projects and other items that come up in your schedule so you can spend less time on each one in compact units. This will make everything go faster and easier while accomplishing much more. As a result, you can achieve multiple results in less time than if you worked on each one separately at a different time. When a new project comes up for you to do, ask yourself what you can consolidate it with. This will keep things moving smoother and you will feel as if you are handling less. Determine what goes together versus doing a single task in its own time.

How the energy of this week affects you in your business life:
When you consolidate what you are doing to be of service, you will become more efficient. This will open up many more opportunities. Merge all of your major ongoing activities within the type of category they belong to. Use broader criteria to keep all of the main categories under ten so it does not become overwhelming. This way, you can even assign each of the higher priority categories to a separate day and combine the not so primary ones to one or two days so all of them are attended to on a weekly basis. Throughout the year, you could designate a month to upgrade and improve each of the categories, while leaving a couple of months for time off or having extra time to invest where needed. You can still further sub-divide each category as is practical. This will be more comfortable to manage. Remember, unless you consolidate all of your business activity as much as possible, you are simply wasting time.   

How the energy of this week affects you in your social life:
This week, take all of your relationships and consolidate them into levels. Your closest circle (level one) will consist of the most important people to you. You would do anything for them and they would do the same for you. Make sure you give enough time and attention to everyone in your inner circle, of course, once you have done what you need to do for yourself first. Next, is the level (two) of your other not-so-close relatives, friends, associates, neighbors, etc. you enjoy encounters with, however, not so close-knit as the above. Upkeep your communication with this group after what was needed for the first level. Leave room for the last level (three) of all other acquaintances and everyone else you encounter in your everyday life. Feel free to offer as much benevolence as the situation allows with the last group without feeling any undue obligation. Be aware of your own reasons for having a different commitment with each one of these levels. This will help you keep things clear. You will be free to do what you can without any guilt. Knowing you are giving your best to yourself first, then to the people who matter to you the most and so on is always going to be rewarding and fulfilling. Consolidate your relationships so you can relax and realize your time will always be well spent with everyone around you.
